HELLO DECEMBER!
Mug Painting with Lo Roux
December 6th
Saturday. 6pm - 8pm
If you’ve been to Sip you’ve likely seen Lo’s colorful clown mugs on our retail shelves! They will be hosting a cup painting workshops at Sip, guiding you through painting your own cup. All materials and pottery are provided for you, and included in the $30 sign-up fee. Your finished piece will be available to pick up the week of 12/13 right up the street at Cycle Pottery. We’re thrilled to host this event and we hope to see you there! Registration is required and limited to 20 people.
Sip & storytelling

Are you passionate about writing and storytelling? Are you looking to connect with our local literary community? We are hosting a fun, low-pressure event for writers of all skill levels and experience tp read their works-in-progress. Poetry, short stories, essays, memoirs, comedy - we want to hear it all! This is a great opportunity to gain some confidence about your work as well as workshop it with the community. We will be accepting sliding scale donations of $1 - $10 at the door. The shop will be open for drinks & treats during the event! We can’t wait to hear what y’all have been working on.
ARTISTs HANG OUT
DECEMBER 11
Thursday, 6 - 8 pm
Come hang out with us *after hours* at our “Artists Hangout” event! A chill evening of arts & crafts every second Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm for creatively-inclined folks to come hang out and mingle! This event is free and BYOP (bring your own project). We will have our full drink menu and pastries available to purchase throughout the event.
The Artist Hangout events are when our equivalent of our gallery show reception happens! Come by for this month’s Gallery Artist Ian’s free card making activity, see the show, and ask Ian a question or two. The rest of the evening will be for mingling and making!!! Masks are optional, and will be available at the door. This month the artist hang out is a crossover with our usual collage night!

This months free concert is Brandee Simone, a Massachusetts based musician & songwriter. Join us for an evening of music and community! The shop will be open for drinks and pastries to enjoy during the performance!
LASt Minute Market
Looking for some last minute holiday bits & bobs? We are having a makers market right before the end of the month! There will be a range of handmade goods from 17 different artists for you to peruse while you sip on some yummy festive beverages.

COLLAGE Night
RESUME NEXT MONTH
We welcome you to join us for our favorite monthly event, Community Collage Night. We provide basic materials (ie card stock, scissors, glue, etc.) and invite you to bring your own scraps, clippings, and materials that you may want to add to your piece. Come alone or bring a friend! This is a low-key gathering and a great way to work on your own project, spend time with friends, meet new people from the community, and get creative together. The shop is open for drinks & pastry while the event is going on. We accept sliding scale donations at the door to cover the cost of materials.
